Looking for serenity and isolation on an exotic beach? Look no further, Vouti offers you all of that and much more.
Vouti beach is located in the west part of Agia Kyriaki bay on the Paliki peninsula. Set the village of Zola on your GPS as the location and once you get there you will find road signs pointing towards the beach.
The road is pretty narrow and steep as you go down, curve after curve. At the end it is sandy, so take care when driving. You can park next to the little Kiosk that offers refreshments, snacks and sandwiches. Lunch with a view, away from the crowded places - it sounds like a plan.
Once you are ready to go down to the beach you have to look both sides to choose where you prefer to go. On one side Vouti is now partly organized with sunbeds and umbrellas. On the other side is not. Both parts of the beach are very beautiful and separated by impressive rocks.
It is a mix of fine shingle and sand with green surroundings and clear blue water. These beaches are for those seeking relaxation and isolation on their holidays. There is a limited natural shade under some rocks and trees, but you better bring an umbrella if you want some extra shade.
Vouti is great for snorkeling too. Just be careful, sometimes, like last September, there were some jellyfish in the water, close to the shore.
The sun at this beach leaves relatively early around 5PM, so if you want to enjoy sunbathing be sure to arrive in the morning or midday.
Otherwise, in the heat of the summer, the red and white Hibiscus flowers are leading you down the stairs from the Kiosk to the beach, on the right side.
